Techtronic Industries North America, Inc. 2nd Shift Advance Distribution Operator in Anderson, South Carolina

Techtronic Industries Power Equipment, a subsidiary of TTI, has an opening in it Anderson, SC location for a 2nd Shift Advance Distribution Operator.   • High School Education or equivalent.

  • At least 3 -- 6 months experience in distribution environment.

  • Continuously moving product of varying weights.

  • Must be able to pick 200 line items.

  • Accurately add and multiply numbers.

  • Fluent in Reading English.

  • Licensed Lift Truck Operator (Stand up lifts).

Advance Distribution Operator(s) are expected to:

  • Ensure employees are working safely and in productive manner,

  • Ensure employees are trained and performing operations to the established standards

  • Provide ongoing OJT for assigned areas of expertise

  • Oversee required task to completion

  • Provide daily communication to all required team members

  • Provide ideas and help create solutions for all improvement activities.

  • Provide team support to accomplished department KPI's

  • Maintain a neat and clean appearance that is appropriate for the workplace setting and for the work being performed.

  • Daily BBS safety checks

  • Proper Lifting techniques are being performe


  • New employees are trained and mentored to ensure standards are meet

  • Ensure Work Methods are followed

  • Manage non-conform material and insure all material is disposition per standard

  • Labeling is being applied to pallets correctly

    5S Standards

  • Perform daily 5S audits to ensure standards are met

  • Updating all required documentation for 5S standards weekly

  • Ensuring 5S Standards are being maintained

  • Daily housekeeping requirement are being met

  • Audit racks daily per audit plan

General Expectations

  • Communicate shift turnover effectively

  • Communicate opportunities for improvement

  • Respond / Perform special request from leadership

  • be proactive in operational issues

  • Being engaged in continuous improvements

  • Ensure supplies and material are available for all drivers

  • Ensure all drivers have proper tools and equipment

  • Provide follow up as required

  • Update communication boards (SMQDC)

  • Good Attendance. (>2.0 occurrence on 90 day)

  • Any additional task that is required by management
