Aerotek Heavy Equipment Operator in Charleston, South Carolina


We are in need of Heavy Equipment Operators, Foreman and Superintendents for a variety of different civil site work locations in the Charleston area.

We need Mid-Level Operators up to Finish Grade Operators. The candidates must be willing to get off the equipment when needed and help with manual labor tasks. We expect everyone to be part of the team and do whatever is necessary to get the job done. For example: No operators will ever only be expected to operate equipment all day long. They must be willing to help out on other areas of the project. I.E. manual labor, shoveling, trench work, loading and unloading supplies and equipment.

Candidates must be reliable, on time, and have a great attitude around becoming part of the crew and eventually becoming part of the team.

ALL candidates need to be willing to submit to a drug test.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with Heavy Equipment (Dozers, Excavators, Track Hoe, Back Hoe, Graders)

-Fine grading experience is highly preferred

-GPS experience preferred

-Flexible availability to include overtime and possible weekends
