Job Summary/Purpose : The Courier Shift Supervisor reports to the Courier Operations Program Coordinator. Under limited supervision, the Courier Shift Supervisor provides training and guidance to staff to meet departmental goals in support of MUHA’s mission. This position also provides support to the all courier operations and functions.

Minimum Training and Education: High school graduate (or GED equivalent) and four years related work experience. Working knowledge of supply practices and procedures, delivery policy and procedures, and personnel management are preferred. Ability to work rotating weekends, rotating shifts and holidays. Requires the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing as well as demonstrated ability to perform recordkeeping tasks and shipping/receiving. Must be computer literate and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and E-Mail systems such as Outlook. Must possess the ability to learn the courier dispatch system, which is a department specific program. Valid South Carolina driver’s license is required.
