Ferguson is looking to fill both immediate and future openings for Warehouse Associates and CDL Delivery Truck Drivers in Charleston, SC. As a Warehouse Associate, you will:
Pull and prepare orders for shipment
Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material
Ensure warehouse is clean, organized, secure and safe at all times
Warehouse Associate Qualifications
Background in Warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred
Working knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn it
Forklift Operator experience required
As a CDL Delivery Truck Driver, you will:
Deliver materials to the customer, which includes assistance with unloading, ensuring delivery of ticket with material, and collecting payment, if necessary
Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests as necessary
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor
CDL Delivery Truck Driver Qualifications
Valid CDL license
Prior commercial truck driving experience is strongly preferred
Good communication and customer service skills
Must be able to lift items that weigh up to of 50lbs
