Provide general supervision to 3 – 15 crews working in multiple locations under multiple contracts.
Plan and implement efficient methods for utilizing personnel, equipment, and material to complete construction projects. Schedules overtime, as required.
Prepares job productivity reports and reports the results to the office as directed.
Inspects job to ensure: final completion and cleanup; job meets customer specifications; all property damage issues are complete; unit inventory is complete and accurate and submitted to billing.
Analyzes job costs, productivity, and budget reports and develops specific job goals. Communicates goals to foreman.
Completes necessary company reports, as required. Keeps records of all projects, as required.
Ensure that established policies, procedures, rules and regulations are followed.
Maintains good customer relations through regular meetings and effective communications.
Supports the region marketing plan by making customer calls and participating in various customer events.
Establishes accountabilities and goals used for performance evaluations in conjunction with foreman.
Ensures crew maintains all equipment properly.
Recruits, interviews and hires new personnel with the assistance of the foreman.
Performs related tasks as directed by supervisor.
Assist in collecting invoices over 30 days old.
Ensures that unit inventory is complete and accurate and submitted to billing every 30 days.
May receive training in safety, first aid, and other related topics.
May serve on company committees, as directed.
Performs other duties as required or directed.
The employee is required to sit; frequently climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, bend, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or maneuver up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift and/or maneuver up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work is primarily performed outdoors so physical exposure to often extreme weather conditions, animals and insects and other outdoor hazards is unavoidable and required.
