Loader/Unloader 1st shift

Do you like working with your hands, moving product, and being on your feet? Are you looking for an opportunity that would allow you to work overtime?

We have immediate temp-to-hire openings with a prominent logistics company in the Ft. Mill area, near Carowinds! We are trying to find 5-6 GREAT candidates that want a long-term positions, and overtime!

Job Details: - 1st shift loader/unloader capable of lifting up to 50lbs repetitively who feel comfortable working in a non-climate controlled warehouse environment. - Pay rate is above market average for this position. - This facility fosters a team environment and good communication with fellow coworkers - Over the next few months, you will regularly have 10-15 hours of overtime.

• Unloading up to 50lbs of product by hand and utilizing conveyor belt systems - Moving product by hand to staging areas - Using wireless RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory

• Proven experience as loader/unloader - Ability to repetitively lift 50 lbs - Ability to stand on feet for 8+ hours at a time - Ability to work in a team environment

Responsibilities

You will be working in a fast paced environment unloading trucks, moving product to staging areas, building pallets, and loading trucks. You will not need to hit the gym after a day in this position (save those gym membership fees!). You will also be asked to utilize RF scanners occasionally to ensure the product is going to the correct location.

• Unloading up to 50lbs of product by hand and utilizing conveyor belt systems

• Moving product by hand to staging areas

• Using wireless RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory

• Proven experience as loader/unloader

• Ability to repetitively lift 50 lbs

• Ability to stand on feet for 8+ hours at a time

• Ability to work in a team environment

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• manual lifting up to 60lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time

• working up to 20 hrs of overtime per week

• working weekends
