We are seeking a new colleague in our Logistics Department in Gray Court, South Carolina!
Responsible for leading the development and implementation of customs compliance for ZF Transmissions Gray Court to ensure adherence of all daily import and export activities to regulatory and company standards. Primarily responsible for supervising the Gray Court Customs Team and the Duncan Customs Team, overseeing the operation of Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) customs for the company to ensure compliance with all U.S. Department of Treasury, U.S. Customs and Homeland Security regulations.
Prepare, maintain, and complete all import/export inventory recordkeeping system requirements and documents.
Operate the Foreign Trade Zone in compliance with the FTZ Operations Manual.
Oversee all departments at ZFTG plant level and ensure their respective functional areas are operating the FTZ in compliance with federal regulations. Will include continuous monitoring of said functions.
Lead/direct/supervise activities of ZF Gray Court and Duncan Customs Teams, to include new employee hiring and all disciplinary action(s).
Responsible for supervising the ZF Gray Court and Duncan Customs Team performance, ensuring compliance with general guidelines/work instructions.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
8+ years of progressive experience with customs and/or supply chain-related projects – 3 years minimum in a Supervisory function
Customs broker license required
Expert level experience with global customs compliance and in-depth understanding of Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) standards
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
