Lockheed Martin Logistics Technician in Greenville, South Carolina

Description: Will be required to engage in all aspects of logistics functions as it pertains to the proper transportation, receiving, issuing, turn-in, ordering, and storage of program procured material. Must have the ability and confidence to make timely decisions. Will be required to work alongside foreign national customers. Must be able to communicate effectively with peers, customers, and senior management. Will be required to work in either a team atmosphere or independently at times. Must be able to accept critical feedback and apply constructively. Will be required to develop and implement advanced plans of action as required.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to.

Provide / track On the Job Training (OJT) to customer assigned counterpart

Accountable for daily ordering and report management of spares and stock replenishment

Perform Inventory as needed

Identify procurement discrepancies and recommend/provide corrective action.

Transportation management for all program procured material

Implement best storage practices of all assigned assets.

Additional duties include but are not limited to assisting in preparation, coordination, and monitoring of assigned trainees task certifications to include maintaining training records.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS/INFO: Must have

strong communications and interpersonal skills. Must read,

write and speak English fluently. Must have or be able to

rapidly secure and maintain a US DOD secret clearance.

Regularly required to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, perform

repetitive movements, and perform work from ground

level to overhead. This position may require frequent

standing for long periods, walking, stooping, kneeling,

squatting, crawling, and twisting.

May be required to perform additional duties as reasonably assigned.

*Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

* No Clearance REQUIRED prior to start. Must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

Candidate must have high school diploma or equivalent USAF 7 level or equivalent

Must have 10 years warehouse operations experience

Must have 7 years procurement management experience

Must be able to provide documentation related to job requirements and/or skill certifications

Prior experience managing resources both people and equipment effectively

Must be able to demonstrate basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (MS)

Prior experience in interpreting data in purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and other material inventory transactions to aid in development of metrics and data reporting and analytics.

Prior experience with Import / Export Control

Must be able to adjust quickly to fast paced environment and manage multiple schedules, calendars and tasks simultaneously

Desired Skills:

Strong understanding of Foreign Military Sales (FMS)

Experience training Foreign Militaries

Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access)

Ability and willingness to work within a team based environment

Strong understanding of government furnished property

Scrap procedures

Ability to apply knowledge of concepts and principals of planning to develop solutions

Ability to speak/communicate in Arabic
