Position Summary : Must be responsible and able to be a team oriented associate, having communication skills, experience in reducing inventories, able to react to changing needs and a full commitment to achieve customer needs.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage buy process and inventory levels to service account needs and meet company goals. Work on keeping inventory at a 5 to 8 week level.

  • Verify when inventory is needed based on ship date, lead times, transit and other data provided by GPM system. (Planning System)

  • Consistently plan production to avoid peaks, valleys and gaps.

  • Monitor DC inventory levels to ensure order allocation without forcing and react to any excess or shortages. Goal is to ship 98% on time.

  • Weekly review of vendor wip report addressing any potential issues that could impact production flow.

  • Review inventory and determine excesses.

    Position Requirements

  • Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma/3-5 years of experience in planning/manufacturing

    Skills and Abilities which may be representative but not all inclusive of those commonly associated with this position:

  • Strong organizational skills and communication skills

  • Ability to analyze and react to changing needs.

  • Understanding of apparel manufacturing.
