Overview of PositionThis position is responsible for answering patient calls and researching and resolving issues in order to receive maximum profitability for clients.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Reviews claims to make sure that payer specific billing requirements are met

  • Follows-up on billing

  • Determines and applies appropriate adjustments

  • Answers inquiries and updates patient accounts as necessary.

What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 1+ years of related work experience; Healthcare and/or Insurance billing or processing and customer service preferred

  • Must be computer literate including MS Office Suite to include (MS Word and MS Excel)

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

  • Call Center experience

  • Managed care experience working with a health plan or TPA (i.e. Claims, Customer Service/Member Services etc.) preferred

  • Overall good knowledge of patient accounts receivable responsibilities.

  • Good understanding of the billing process

  • Able to work with little supervision

What are the working conditions and physical requirements of this job?

  • Work from home position. Equipment provided. Work hours Training hours 8:30AM-5:00 PM. Regular Shift will be 10:30AM to 7:00PM
