We are seeking highly-energized, fast-learning, team-contributing candidates, who want to make a significant impact on supporting the $500M+ U.S. & Canada Field purchasing function of our organization. As a Field Supply Chain Manager you will be responsible for leading and executing supply management strategies, as well as facilitating key sourcing needs of the Field. The role will require a blend of strategical and tactical efforts that will directly contribute to building and sustaining a solid field purchasing team and robust supplier portfolio. Day-to-day duties include supplier management and negotiations, developing and executing supply chain strategies, and facilitating RFQ’s and purchases based on key pre/post-award field needs. This is a new team with the task of developing a team structure and scope; therefore, the expectation of the role is to grow and develop primary duties in sync with the needs of the Team and Field.
Key objectives include:
Support regional/local field office procurement needs, facilitating key purchases and supplier escalations.
Own and manage strategic categories and suppliers for the North American business; driving competitive sourcing, while ensuring high quality performance are achieved.
Increase purchasing productivity efficiencies and savings in order to meet busines plan
Act as a voice on behalf of both Supply Chain and Field operations; including supporting escalation of supply issues.
Support center-led global/regional strategies
Support the deployment of a global purchasing system and related processes
Drive policy awareness and compliance
Support data analytics and report-outs to global/regional leadership
Education / Certifications:
Minimum BA/BS degree – Supply Chain, Engineering or Business strongly preferred
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at various levels in the organization
Knowledge of elevator industry, supply chain or field operation experience is highly desirable
Knowledge of, or experience with, lean manufacturing systems/processes and ERP/JDE configurations
Strategic planning / thinking skills coupled with analytical and execution skillsets
Experience with Excel or other data manipulation programs
Demonstrated ability to drive teamwork between groups and across functional teams
Demonstrated project management, change management and negotiating capabilities a plus.
This position is Remote and can be based anywhere in the U.S

“The salary range for the available position is $69,000 to $118,500.The salary range and benefits described are provided in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay For Equal Work Act, but the actual compensation offered to the successful candidate will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant experience, qualifications, location, certifications, and education. This position is eligible for health and welfare benefits, retirement benefits, and vacation / paid time off.
