FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse functions and its associates on our evening shift.
Work with lead persons to schedule work and reduce labor costs
Ensure all associates have a safe work area
Monitor associate performance and address needed improvements
Ensure ?On Time Shipments? on all orders. Inform leadership team of any of any issues
Communicate with Order Process Clerks to ensure customer orders are waved timely for
Communicate with Billing Clerks to ensure customer BOL?s are done timely for
Ensure orders are picked to customer specifications
Work in conjunction with inventory control to set up active pick locations
Assuring shipping schedules are met by organizing and coordinating trailer loads
11.Monitor the WM system to ensure all work and tasks have been properly completed
12.All other duties assigned by management
Performance expectations will be met when the above duties are performed with minimal or zero errors and minimal complaints are received by internal and external customers.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, hear, walk, and lift packages up to 25 lbs.
POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or equivalent
2+ years college preferred
3+ years logistics supervision experience preferred
Skills and Abilities :
Experience with Manhattan WMS strongly preferred
Self- motivated, hands on, and flexible
Must be able to identify problems and resolve in a timely manner; possess a sense of urgency and ability to prioritize tasks and resources appropriately.
Promote an environment conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity, and effectiveness
Proficient in all MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and internet
Professional verbal communication skills and customer service orientation
Analytical ability to summarize data and data entry skills
Excellent organizational and follow-up skills with attention to detail/accuracy
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, diverse environment while managing multiple task
